(Head Office: Osaka, Japan; Representative Director, President and CEO: Toru Kimura; the “Company”) has confirmed that a report concerning the Company and its group companies was published by Gotham City Research LLC on August 3, 2026. The report reflects the independent views and assertions of its author and was not issued by the Company.

The Company prepares and discloses its consolidated financial statements and financial statements (the “Financial Statements”) in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Such Financial Statements are audited by an independent auditor in accordance with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the Companies Act of Japan, and the independent auditor has issued an unqualified audit opinion. With respect to the allegations in the report regarding misstatements in the Financial Statements and related disclosures and inappropriate accounting treatment, the Company has not confirmed any such facts at this time. Accordingly, as of the date of this release, the Company has no plans to revise the Financial Statements previously disclosed by the Company.
