Sumitomo Pharma believes it is important to correctly identify those risks that will impact our business activities as well as the ways in which our business may impact society and the environment and to respond to these risks and impacts appropriately. As such, we have established our Declaration of Conduct with an awareness of the ISO26000 core subject framework.
In practicing our Sustainability Management, we review all of our corporate activities from the perspective of corporate social responsibility and work proactively to respond to social changes and demands. We have formulated the material issues to prioritize as we promote Sustainability Management and implement a range of initiatives focusing on these issues. We not only comply with all laws and regulations but also ensure that our corporate activities are carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Conduct. This website is also structured in accordance with the ISO26000 core subject framework.
Newsletter on Declaration of Conduct

Sumitomo Pharma provide training for all the officers and employees to enhance their understanding of the Declaration of Conduct. As an additional opportunity, we have been issuing a newsletter dedicated to this topic for the purpose of establishing and improving compliance and high ethics since fiscal 2014 and have been posting them periodically on our Intranet bulletin board.
The intranet site for Newsletter of Declaration of Conduct also allows employees to contribute by posting their experience and stories on initiatives at their workplace and exchange with one another their thoughts on compliance and corporate ethics.
