【Our Subsidiaries in China collaborated with schools to conduct activities related to “Good Handwashing, Good Hygiene Habits” and “Prevention of Accidental Ingestion of Medicine by Children.” 】

In September and November 2024, our subsidiaries in China- Sumitomo Pharma (China) Co., Ltd., Sumitomo Pharma（Suzhou）Co., Ltd. - collaborated with Luwan Experimental School for Special Needs affiliated to East China Normal University in Shanghai^※ to conduct activities on "Good Handwashing, Good Hygiene Habits" and "Prevention of Accidental Ingestion of Medicine by Children." Dozens of employees from the Shanghai office participated in these activities.

For the "Good Handwashing, Good Hygiene Habits" program, we educated the children on the importance of handwashing and bacteria. They were also encouraged to draw illustrations of bacteria, which were then compiled into a storybook. This allowed them to better retained the importance of proper handwashing and provided a memorable experience through its creation.

For the "Prevention of Accidental Ingestion of Medicine by Children" program, we conducted interactive games to teach the children about the safe medication use to prevent health risks from their accidental medicine ingestion. In addition, we distributed brochures to the parents to enhance their awareness of safe medication practices.
